Through storms of life, you come once more,
With fragile hopes and wounds you bore.
I sit and hear your tears run deep,
And all the sorrows your eyes keep.

 

Some truths lie buried in the heart,
Yet breath still seeks where breaths depart.
One touch can wake old wounds anew,
And show how years have worn desire through.

 

Beyond, the world speaks soft and low;
Within, two hearts in love’s fault grow.
Though bitter trials may come our way,
I’ll bear the bitterness, come what may.

 

When silver clouds crown hair with age,
Will love still live beyond life’s page?
I ask not for a lifetime’s claim,
But that you honour love’s own name.

 

Though moons may wane and lose their light,
Your eyes still call me through the night.
You leave, and sorrow fades from view;
I hold our memories, lonely but true.

 

Though life may serve its bitter wine,
It cannot kill what once was mine.
Though fate may keep our worlds apart,
Let no shame stain a loving heart.

 

When loneliness has passed away,
May memories recall each shared day.
If love has turned to grief and pain,
I’ll keep its tenderness unstained.

Người về qua những phong ba,
Mang theo phận mỏng xót xa cõi lòng.
Ta ngồi nghe lệ ngược dòng,
Thấy trong đáy mắt mênh mông nỗi niềm.

 

Có điều chôn kín trong tim,
Mà nghe hơi thở đi tìm hơi nhau.
Bàn tay chạm nỗi niềm đau,
Mới hay khao khát đã nhàu tháng năm.

 

Ngoài kia miệng thế âm thầm,
Trong đây hai kẻ lỗi lầm vì yêu.
Dẫu đời cay đắng bao nhiêu,
Ta xin nhận hết những điều đắng cay.

 

Mai sau tóc bạc như mây,
Ai còn nhớ phút đắm say bên người?
Ta không xin cả cuộc đời,
Chỉ xin đừng phụ những lời đã trao.

 

Dẫu cho trăng khuyết trăng hao,
Vẫn nghe ánh mắt hôm nào gọi tên.
Người đi, khép lại ưu phiền,
Ta ôm kỷ niệm qua miền quạnh hiu.

 

Đời còn nếm đắng bao nhiêu,
Cũng không dập tắt tình yêu một thời.
Dẫu cho cách trở đôi nơi,
Xin đừng hổ thẹn một đời đã yêu.

 

Mai này qua hết quạnh hiu,
Còn nghe ký ức những chiều bên nhau.
Nếu tình đã hóa niềm đau,
Ta xin giữ trọn một màu yêu thương.
